I call you up and tell you that it was incredibly hard to cast the show and you did incredibly well and you say yeah and then we end the phone call. I know this because it's been the same way since the year dot. But for what it is worth the auditions were fantastic - please believe me when I say those of you who thought we were hyper from the sugar were sadly mistaken (in the most part - ed.) We were hyper because none of us have ever come up against that many good auditions. Were the 15 female lead parts then 15 of you would have got them because you were all fantastic. At the end of the day whatever I say here won't make up for the disappointment that some of you will be feeling. It sounds bad but it is good that you're feeling like that because it will make you want it even more next year and the year after and all of you are capacble of taking these lead parts.
