The Norbury Youth theatre, like the theatre it is attached to, is entirely volunteer run. We work with young people aged 13 to 18 with the aim of making all aspects of theatre work more accessible.
We are attached to the theatre and are therefore in the position to offer not only guidance with acting but also to allow young people to experience any aspect of theatre they would like from lighting and sound to wardrobe and makeup. Older members are also encouraged to take a more active role in the directing of shows.
The group rehearse on Friday evenings from 7.30 - 9.45 at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich. There are also workshops from both the normal staff and visiting actors throughout the year.
